Help Your Customers Become Safe Boaters
 

Sign up to be a Recreational Boating Safety Center. As a Recreational Boating Safety Center, you will have a trained, experianced and knowledgable Coast Guard Auxiliary Member visit your place of business. This Auxiliary Member will keep you up to date with current State and Federal regulations & publications.

Recreational Boating Safety Centers typically include:

Sporting Goods Stores
Bait Shops
Gas Stations that sell fishing licenses
Local License Bureaus
Campground & Resort Offices
Marina Offices and Service Desks
RV Dealers
Boat Dealers
Gas Docks
State Parks

Centers can include any place that is frequented by the Boating Public, such as:

Hardware Stores
Salons & Barber Shops
Resteraunts & Bars
Drug Stores
Insurance Agency
Health Club

 

Coast Guard active duty and auxiliary staffed the Sea Partners exhibit where several hundred visitors stopped by and heard about invasive species, ecosystem diversity and the hydrological cycle and the environmental impact of trash in our oceans.

MSTC Joseph Dentry (Officer Snook), YN2 Jasmine Pilacinski, Aux Neil McMillin at the Minnesota Zoo in April 2010 for Earth Day. 

Officer Snook is a cartoon fish character who symbolizes protection of our water environments worldwide and part of a long-term water pollution prevention program emphasizing youth and community education.
