Serving the Twin Cities metropolitan area, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Division 11, District 8 Western Rivers is comprised of approximately 175 members organized into 5 flotillas, each under the leadership of a Flotilla Commander and Vice Flotilla Commander. While the flotilla is the basic auxiliary unit, the Division structure allows the pooling of resources, and an efficient means of delivering training to the members and a wide variety of services to the public including safe boating classes and free vessel safety exams.

From Lake Mille Lacs to Lake St Croix, and on the Mississippi from Minneapolis and St Paul to Prescott and Lake Pepin, Division 11 is in the service of the boating public.
